Veteran cars exhibition

June 9, 2008 by zelina80

My husband likes very much veteran cars.Last weekend we visited to an auto second hand exhibition, where we could see a lot of beautiful, old autos, from last century. My husband and my eldest son were really satisfield with this, because they could try to drive these old autos. They said, it was a fantastic experience to fly back in the time, to the past.Contemporary films were projected, in period dresses and the exhibition was made even more attractive with sceneries real show obtained, with much music, with a fashion show and with a raffle. My youngest son gained a miniature car, sleeps with it since then. We are absolutely sure to come back here next year!

Mother’s Day

May 7, 2008 by zelina80

I am very proud of my children. Onto mothers’ day they organize a surprise. On Sunday in the morning all four of my children stood there beside my bed when I opened my eyes  and they gave me a smile…I got a beautiful bunch of flowers, marvellous drawings from them, and they sing yet for me. It was moving really. My eldest son though with festive scrambled eggs dazzled, what himself prepared. It was the most delicious food in my life. My eldest daughter wrote a wonderful composition about me though! I am sure of that, I am the world’s happiest and richest Mum, because I have a family like this!

Family entertainment

April 30, 2008 by zelina80

As a matter of fact I am a passionate theatre fan and I love going to the theatre. As I have a season ticket, I have seen virtually all the plays that have been performed by the permanent company of our theatre since the theatrical season began. I suppose the most frequently played musical is the Cats, this is really popular performance in our country. The cast is generally very good and they feature the best artists. The plays of G. B. Shaw are also well-known and popular in my country. Among others we have seen Pygmalion and Saint Joan on Hungarian stages.

Last weekend our family went to a concert given by the National Philharmonic Orchestra. They performed Tchaikovsky’s 5th Symphony with Ligeti András as a conductor. It was splendid beyond words. Then a violinist played Kreisler’s concerto to the accompaniment of the orchestra. He is talented musician with a fine technique. At the end of the concert the music lovers the audience were really delighted. My children enjoyed our family programme, and asked for me to come here again!

Our pets

April 19, 2008 by zelina80

We like angling and keeping pets. As you know, we have a big family, therefore I think, we have place for pets too. We love animals, first of all dogs. Our dog’s name is Zorro, we found him outside on the road, and lodged him. He is really grateful to us and he is very much attached to all the members of the family. He is pure-bred, although it does not matter much to me. If he were a mongrel we would love him just the same! His kennel is right outside our front door and when he barks, he looks quite frightening especially for strangers. He is an excellent watch-dog.

Since last month we have another new pet, what is a cute chinchilla. My eldest son got it as a birthday present. We gave him a common name:Kiwi. He is a typical night-animal, sleeps all day, and romps at nights. He has beautiful, grey colour, and very silk-like hair. In the evenings he is a really jack-in -the-box. His favourite food is hay. My children are very-very happy with our pets!

Our family dinner

April 3, 2008 by zelina80

On our way to a small village, we once stopped at a roadside restaurant. We were very hungry and we didn’t have anywhere else to go.It was an old inn and there were a lot of people inside. The waiter was surprised because of my children. To tell the truth, they were a little bit noisy. Therefore, in spite of the crowd we managed to find an empty table but the cloth on it was dirty and full of food-stains.The plates that other costumers had eaten from were still on the table and had leftovers in them.It took ages before the waiter came and cleared the table, leaving the food-stained cloth on it.It was another half an hour before he appeared again and took our order. There were not many dishes on the menu;eggs, in mayonnaise, rolled ham, some soups, Wiener Schnitzel, stew and pickled gherkin. We ordered pork and though it was a little tough it was quite tasty after all.I don’t think to come here again. Finally, we got into our auto, drove home and I prepared a very delicious dinner. And the tablecloth was absolutely clear…auto

My family shopping

March 23, 2008 by zelina80

To do my weekend shopping I go to the nearest supermarket because it sells almost everything that a family needs.I warn everybody against doing their big shopping on Friday or Saturday because on these days the shops are full of costumers.Almost all supermarkets are self-service shops, which are very popular because you can see many different varieties of the available articles and you make your choice as you please.I prefer shopping in a supermarket, but I know there are some people who don’t like it.When I do my shopping I walk from shelf to shelf, filling my basket with the things I need.I have to be careful when shopping in a self-service store, though, for the goods are so attractively displayed that I can hardly resist temptation.I have to think over what to buy because I can’t afford to buy all kinds of things I don’t need.I often do the shopping on my way home from work after picking up the children by my family auto from the school.

Family tour

March 7, 2008 by zelina80

We plan our holiday well in advance and make a lot of arrangements.First of all we decide where to go and make the preparations accordingly.Fortunately, by now we have unlimited possibilities to go practically anywhere in the world if you have enough foreign currency. We usually go to one of the numerous travel agencies and enquire about both package tours and possibilities for individual tours as well as traveling expenses. Our family favourite place is in Europe, a strange country, Romania.I was born here in 32 years ago.Turism is development in this area, because many-many people choose this country as a destination. This summer we plan to get to the Black-Sea, because in my childhood I spent my summer holiday there.I am wonder about what has changed since 1976.We would like to take all my children and our pets!marea3.jpg

To tell the truth, our family is the happiest since we have a cute puppy…Yesterday afternoon we visited our friends, who live in the country. We went there by Ford and naturally we took our little dog.Everybody was captivated by Zorro. On the way home I was grouchy, because everything was full with Zorro’s hair. But my children surprised me to clean up our Galaxy.Of course it moved me to tears!!kutya-5.jpg

Large family, big car, new newcomer

February 13, 2008 by zelina80

Yesterday evening on the way home with my children, we found a puppy. We sat in our familiar auto(Ford Galaxy), when my youngest son shouted…” Mummy, stop quickly, look there a little dog.We wondered, but stopped and had a look.He was right! There was a very cute pup in the ditch. All of my children ran out of the auto and touched the dog. They implored me for keeping that puppy.I left them willy-nilly, but I had one proviso: we try to look for the dog’s real owner.Naturally they conceded, only we take home the small dog.We put him(because he’s a male) into the Galaxy and went home.My oldest daughter said, its fantastic, we have a big car, there is one more place for the new newcomer! To tell the truth, this dog ’s really delightful :-)

Last weekend we celebrated my birthday with my populous family. As I told you, I ‘ ve four small children: two boys, and two girls. They ‘ re 2,4,6,7 years old.To tell the truth, it ‘ s very hard to bring up them, because they ‘ re often naughty…I ‘ m in deep water, but I ‘ m trying to overcome the difficulties.Unfortunately my husband travels abroad many times.I frequently think, Life isn ‘ t a bed of roses. However on my birthday I was really surprised…My unruly children played peacefully in their rooms…My husband prepared the dinner and laid the table with a beautiful bunch of tulips(which is my favourit flower :-) You know, he ‘ s not a typical romantic nature. Therefore it moved me to tears!I realized, what a lucky woman I am and I was sure of that I hit the jackpot with my family!!
